Ground Turkey Meatloaf recipe (Poultry)

Ingredients

2 lb turkey burger
½   chopped onion
8   slices white bread
1   minced clove garlic
some   fresh parsley
1   shredded carrot
1 cup water
some   salt and pepper
1   rib chopped celery
1 teaspoon poultry seasoning

Instructions

Cut the bread into small pieces and put them into a large bowl with the water. When the bread becomes soft, combine it with the turkey burger and mash it together thoroughly. Add the other ingredients and mix well.
Form the mixture into a loaf shape, and put it into a large baking pan. Cover with aluminum foil and bake in a preheated 350°F oven one hour. Remove the aluminum foil and continue to bake 30 min. longer.
Remove the meat loaf promptly from the pan so it does not soak up any excess grease. Refrigerate any leftovers.
You can also separate the top layer of excess grease from the bottom layer of pan juices in the pan. The grease is the clear liquid floating on top of the meat juices.
Discard the grease, but put the pan juices into a saucepan on top of the stove and thicken them a bit with some flour. Salt and pepper to taste and spoon the thickened juices over slices of meatloaf or scoops of mashed potatoes.
