Instructions
Green bean casserole is a casserole consisting of green beans, cream of mushroom soup and french fried onions. The recipe may also call for ground pepper and soy sauce. It was first created in 1955 by a soup company, and has since become a popular Thanksgiving side dish in the United States. Mix soup, milk, soy, black pepper, beans and 2/3 cup onions in 1½-quart casserole. Bake at 350° F for 25 minutes. Stir. Sprinkle with remaining onions. Bake 5 minutes.
