Old-Fashioned Cabbage Soup recipe (Soup)
Instructions
Combine cabbage, salt and enough water to cover in kettle; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer for 30 minutes or until tender. Press though food mill; returning to the kettle. Add milk, butter, salt and pepper; bring to boiling point. Serve hot with oyster crackers.
