Pumpkin Turkey Chili recipe (Poultry)

YOU'LL NEED
2 cups pumpkin puree
1 lb ground turkey
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 cup chopped onion
½   chopped green bell pepper
½   chopped yellow bell pepper
4 oz chopped green chiles
1   minced clove garlic
15 oz diced tomatoes
15 oz red kidney beans
tablespoons chili powder
½ tablespoons cumin
some   salt and pepper
¼ cups chopped fresh cilantro
½ cups shredded Cheddar cheese
½ cups sour cream

Instructions

Heat oil in a large skillet or Dutch oven over medium-high heat.
Saute the onion, green bell pepper, yellow bell pepper, green chili, and garlic about 10 min. Make room in the center of the skillet, add turkey, and brown, about 10 min. Stir in tomatoes, beans, pumpkin. Season with chili powder, cumin, pepper, salt.
Reduce heat and simmer at least 20 minutes. Stir in fresh cilantro. Serve topped with Cheddar cheese and sour cream.
